These delightful and joyful earrings are handmade by artists from Samunnat Nepal. All the artists are women from eastern Nepal who have escaped violence and are earning their income by making and selling the beautiful jewellery. The designs are inspired by their own traditions (think bell-shaped jhumka earrings) but have a decidedly modern flavour! The women mix all their own colours and hand make each component using polymer clay. The findings are all sterling silver. Each par is a tiny statement of hope and courage!
