At A Little Library , we believe that a child’s potential should never be limited by their geography. Founded by a Year 11 student in Sydney, we have turned a local Northern Beaches initiative into a global lifeline for literacy.
To date, we have successfully rehomed 5,000 books through local charities and the Australian Literacy Foundation. But our mission is expanding—and we need your help to get the next chapter started.
The Proof: Our Impact in Action
We don't just collect books; we build direct bridges to classrooms. We are currently celebrating a major milestone: 500 high-quality books are officially en route to New Barili Elementary School in the Philippines.

The Challenge: The Cost of the "Final Mile"
The Northern Beaches community and local students have been incredibly generous—our shelves are overflowing with books on STEM, nature, and classic stories.
The hurdle isn't the books—it's the boat. Shipping to remote areas like rural Zimbabwe , the Philippines , and Outback Australia involves significant logistics and freight costs. These "book deserts" have the students and the teachers, but they lack the physical resources to foster a love of reading.
