The Carer Onboarding & Wellbeing Day, hosted in Parramatta by Carers Corner in early 2026, brings everything carers need into one supportive experience - a practical, informative and restorative day designed to help unpaid carers feel informed, connected, and cared for.
While carers play a vital role, they are rarely offered structured guidance or wellbeing support throughout their journey. Many don’t know which organisations, tools, or resources could make daily life easier.
This one-day experience changes that - giving carers the time, space, and support they deserve to start and continue on strong.

Carers Corner Digital Platform
Participants will also be among the first to trial the
Carers Corner digital platform, which provides
ongoing access to these tools and supports long after the event.
Their insights will help shape and refine the platform, paving the way
for a national rollout - ensuring carers everywhere can access the
same guidance, connection, and wellbeing support from day one.
The Big Picture - Why Now
Across Australia, more than 3 million unpaid carers are supporting loved ones with disability, illness, or ageing - often at the expense of their own health, income, and wellbeing.
We currently have a waitlist of 350+ carers eager to join our platform, many seeking to attend a future Carer Onboarding & Wellbeing Day. A large portion of them are in Parramatta and Sydney LGAs - ready to benefit from this program as soon as it’s funded.
This campaign is about turning that demand into action - creating an experience that not only supports local carers, but informs a platform and model that can scale nationally.

Our Stretch Goal 💥
If we reach our stretch goal of $18,570, we’ll deliver a second Carer Onboarding & Wellbeing Day in a Sydney location. This will enable us to expand the model to support more carers and strengthen communities across NSW and scale nationally through the Carers Corner platform.

Carers Corner is a social impact organisation building a digital platform and community to support Australia’s 3 million unpaid carers - helping them stay informed, connected, and supported at every stage of the caregiving journey.
We combine lived experience with design thinking to create practical tools, carer-to-carer connection, and wellbeing programs that ease the emotional and logistical load of caring.

About The Founder - Victoria Romeo
Victoria Romeo is an award-winning founder, SXSW Sydney and TEDx speaker, and social impact entrepreneur with a career spanning business growth, technology, and community impact.
- She founded Relievables, a sustainability tech startup that won both the University of Sydney Genesis Award and the ACU Social Enterprise Award, and has since gone on to mentor founders at UNSW and the University of Sydney in social enterprise, sales, and growth.
- Victoria has sold and delivered multi-million-dollar tech solutions to leading enterprises including BP, 7-Eleven, Amazon, eBay, and The Iconic, and has led national training programs and conferences for organisations such as Microsoft, HP, and Activision.
- Her lived experience as an unpaid carer to her mother, who was diagnosed with early-onset dementia, and as a mother herself, gives her a deep understanding of the emotional and practical realities carers face.
Carers Corner was born from that experience, combining her background in tech and business with her drive to build systems that support carers from day one.
