As two game designers from Sydney's west, we know fun means more than advanced tech, the latest expansion or the prettiest graphics - it's really about the human experiences we share with each other:

Our shared laughs, surprise plays and victory celebrations are all experiences made meaningful when shared in-person - a modern luxury our gaming generations deserve, but are seldomly afforded.

Casual gaming is in need of an in-person sanctuary where the human experience takes precedence - a place where high-fives are made at whim, laughter echoes louder than headset static, and digital teams become analog friends.

We're Polylop Games - A team sharing the power of games for positive real world impact: education, health, culture and social welfare.

In mid-2025, we came to an abrupt realisation: Despite sharing geography, our local pockets of players are fractured and hidden. The greatest fulfilment our team can offer our local communities isn't more choice for games, nor more people to join them. What we're missing is an opportunity - a place and a time to connect upon our shared, yet diverse passion for good fun.

Our team feels deeply compelled to address this, but we can't do it alone.

If we can overcome campaign goal (thanks to your support!), we will formally announce that the CONVERGE games carnival will be going ahead! The event will be for ages 13+, held on a Saturday in Q1 2026, in a venue within Parramatta LGA. Stay tuned for more details in December 2025!

Then, with our continuing community after the event, we hope to announce 2 encore events - a second and third CONVERGE games carnival - building upon the foundations of our collective contributions. Our ultimate goal build a community of us for years and years, with regular scheduled CONVERGE events on the horizon.
